If you could have used this recipe yesterday for St. Patrick’s
Day, so sorry...we have been a bit delayed around here because of round number
two of the flu. But no worries- this can be fun for any occasion really,
whether it is to celebrate spring or a little one’s birthday. The idea to have
a rainbow fruit platter for St. Patrick’s Day has been a tradition with my
girls for over four years now, ever since I saw a picture on Pinterest. Adding
the Chocolate Crock Pot Fun-due to go with it clearly made me a genius in my family’s
eyes. And yes, their Irish eyes were smiling!
Chocolate Crock Pot Fun-due
1 cup whipping cream
9 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
6 oz milk chocolate, chopped
Place ingredients in a slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low, whisking several times until chocolate is melted and smooth, about 1 hour. Makes approximately 2 cups. Serve with a rainbow of fruit. Add marshmallows for clouds and mini peanut butter cups for pot o' gold.

You can bring the (warm) crock pot directly to the table and serve with skewers or scoop fun-due into individual bowls. You can even stir in 2 Tbsp of Amaretto or Bailey's Irish Cream at the end of cooking time for some adult fun-due!

Any which way, the result is delicious.
